Abstract:

These are the names and dates of all the 1:24,000 scale, 7.5-minute USGS topographic map images that the Montana State Library received in 1998. There is a similar layer in the State Library Data List, and this one is different in that it includes all of the quadrangles in the State Library collection rather than just the quadrangles that cover Montana.

Currentness reference:: Quadrangle dates were established in 1998. Map names were updated in 2013 to reflect the eliminaiton of "Squaw" names from geographic features in Montana.
